Luma needed a campaign that would demonstrate the power of their AI filmmaking tools, not by telling creatives what they could do, but by challenging them to prove it.
DE-YAN conceived and executed the Dream Brief: a $1M global creative competition inviting filmmakers to finally make the work they were never allowed to make. Luma received 400 video submissions globally, and 21 finalist films were selected and entered into Cannes Lions 2026, with a $1M Gold Lion prize on the line.
