Producer, Experiential
Location: NYC
We're looking for an Experiential Producer who thrives on turning ambitious creative concepts into real, physical experiences. You're the central hub for both clients and the DE-YAN team — someone who anticipates what's needed before it's asked, keeps builds and installs moving with real momentum, and always has a clear view across every moving part, from design intent to what's happening on-site.
You'll take full ownership of experiential projects from first idea through fabrication, install, and live execution — holding the work to a high standard while keeping it on budget, on schedule, and structurally sound. This role is built for someone who's as comfortable on a job site as they are in a client meeting, operates with real autonomy, and helps shape how we plan and run physical productions.
What you’ll do
- Oversee multiple concurrent experiential projects — from kickoff and design through fabrication, installation, and on-site execution — across multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Develop comprehensive project Scopes of Work covering deliverables, timelines, budgets, and site/production logistics
- Manage production schedules, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications across studio disciplines, fabricators, and on-site crews
- Source, vet, and manage fabricators, vendors, contractors, and specialized consultants for builds, installs, and live events
- Coordinate site logistics — venue requirements, permitting, load-in/load-out, and on-site production needs
- Negotiate contracts and costs with clients, freelancers, and vendors to land agreements that work for everyone
- Partner with business development on compelling project proposals and presentations
- Run productive meetings and client calls, translating creative concepts and production progress clearly for all stakeholders
- Provide on-site production support, including troubleshooting during install, strike, and live event days
- Foster a collaborative, positive environment on-site and in-studio that keeps creative excellence intact under pressure
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of production experience in experiential, events, or physical/environmental design, ideally within a creative studio or agency
- Proven track record developing comprehensive SOWs and managing physical production budgets exceeding $500K
- Hands-on experience managing fabrication, installation, and on-site execution for experiential or environmental projects
- Comfortable navigating the realities of physical production — venue logistics, vendor coordination, and problem-solving in real time on-site
- Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail while keeping momentum through fast-paced, high-pressure builds
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities across concurrent projects
