Motion Designer, 2D
Location: Brazil
We’re seeking a highly creative Motion Designer specializing in 2D Motion Graphics. In order for you to thrive and succeed in this role, it’s essential for you to be both detail-oriented and eager to push limits with creative projects. Being open to experimental work, storytelling and an editorial aesthetic is an absolute must. We believe in trust and responsibility—you should be used to managing your own projects, and be able to work autonomously to create, contribute to and finish tasks on your own and with the studio team.
What you’ll do
- Partner with creative directors, designers and producers to conceive and develop innovative, compelling creative 2D motion graphics concepts.
- Create storyboards/styleframes, motion tests, presentations and animations,
- Create and prepare motion toolkits and guidelines for internal and external use.
- Lead and manage creative team by providing clear artistic direction and feedback to supporting 2D/3D motion artists and freelancers.
- Present ideas and concepts to clients, partner agencies and internal creative leads.
- Ensure all work that leaves the studio is QC-ed, to spec and to DE-YAN standards.
What you’ll bring
- Must have a strong, versatile portfolio of dynamic animations.
- At least 5-8+ years of 2D motion graphics and design experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe CC, especially After Effects. (2D Character knowledge is a plus!)
- Must be highly organized, have meticulous attention to detail and be able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Experience working on commercial projects.
- Experience working on brands and know how brand consistency works.
- Be aware of content and experiential trends in luxury, fashion, tech and lifestyle marketing and regularly apply that knowledge to creative projects.
